I have joined IBP in February 2021 and I’m based in Dakar, Senegal. As a Program Officer, I support public finance research by trying to identify budget credibility issues that hinder development in the Health, WASH, and Social Protection sectors in Senegal.

Previously, I contributed to the Canadian research sector as a Program Officer at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). I also have extensive experience in social protection and resource allocation in Senegal; having contributed to the implementation of the National Family Scholarship Program as well as to the Unique National Register in Senegal, as Coordinator of these Programs.

I have a Master’s in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa and a bachelor’s in economics and Political Science from the University of Montreal.
